The Coconut Club Beach Road: Nasi lemak at The Coconut Club Beach Road, next to Arab Street

A good friend invited me to try some of the local cuisine. I had some variation of this eating at another friend's house and also at a hawker market, but having the opportunity to explore a more interesting version of it in a beautiful setting is what attracted me to this place. And yes, the portions are big. The food is strong. I would say that after these we had to go for a walk and also a beautiful massage nearby. So yeah, this was really good food.

The Singaporean flavors were there. I really enjoyed seeing how they cook some of this on leaves, reminding me of some of the Latin cuisine. Egg fried stuff, and of course the rice to love.

It's also fascinating the location of the restaurant. It's close to Arab Street and Masjid Sultan, so you get to experience the variety and different approaches that Singapore has to offer. Great location, very nice atmosphere. Service was quick and the food came up very fast. I kind of feel like I got a kiss from Singapore with this beautifull meal.
