## Review

Plow, the definite place for brunch in San Francisco.

Every time somebody asks me where to go for brunch, I mention Plow. I really like the place. It’s a great destination on Potrero Hill, and you’ll always find a line on a busy day. Go on a Wednesday, or get there early, and you can get in. It’s definitely worth it. Behind the bar, happy cooks are always surprising you with breakfasts: eggs, bread, and sometimes a Chinese version of breakfast. It’s always a fantastic experience. The coffee, the ambience, and the flavors. Try the different menus and see what you like.

Plow’s great. It’s worth the wait. If the line is really hard, still put your name on the list, walk to Farley’s (1315 18th St) half a block away, grab a tea or a coffee, and come back. I’ve had some of the best conversations in that line. If you’re lucky, you’re just getting in. I still remember during the pandemic they kept serving breakfast. I’m not sure about delivery, but I remember picking up directly. They always handed over those packages with a great smile and a lot of thanks. Plow is where you go for breakfast and really enjoy it. That’s why San Francisco has spots that are worth it. This is my best example.

Try to avoid weekends. It’s super crowded. Get there early on a weekday and you’ll have the best experience.

## What to order

- **The Plow:** Two eggs, two lemon ricotta pancakes, plow potatoes, and house sausage. This is the plate.
- **Lemon ricotta pancakes:** House made ricotta, lemon curd, salted whipped butter, pure maple syrup.
- **Grain bowl:** Quinoa, black rice, Hodo Soy yuba, kale, oyster mushrooms, soy marinated egg. Avocado when you add it.
- **Two egg brekkie:** Eggs with house made pork sausage, plow potatoes, and toast.
- **Hong Kong style toast:** Lightly burnt brioche, coffee condensed milk, sea salt.
- **Chinese breakfast (when available):** Ask if they have it. Not always on the menu.
