## Review

We have a real mezcal bar in San Francisco. Is the sister little property of Tacolicious. Mosto/El Burger also has good pastor. Skip the burgers.

There's a picture of Obama, and that guy knew about good food when I saw him on a little banquito in Hanoi eating bún chả with Bourdain, so I will trust his selection of tacos. Not sure if he paired them with some mezcal.

The tacos al pastor come from a proper trompo and remain the reason to go. Carved with char, pineapple, and salsa. We did a small reel when we visited. Check it out. They have a good mezcal selection too. Lately they are also making burgers, but I think that loses part of what made me recommend them the first time. Stick to the pastor. Skip the burgers.

### Is Mosto the bar next to Tacolicious?

Tacolicious has a small bar next door. Might be the extra space but for me, it has always been the main attraction. A full mezcal bar, with pastor tacos. Intimate. With banda linda. The pastor that the Mission gives.

### What should I order at Mosto?

Stick to the pastor. It comes from a proper trompo, carved with char, pineapple, and salsa. Skip the burgers. That loses part of what made me recommend them.

### Do they have mezcal?

Yes. Good mezcal selection. That is half the point.
