## Review

Diacá, Cuatro Grados Norte: bring grandpa to the tasting menu.

Tasting menu in Guatemala, in a beautiful location in Cuatro Grados. To try this place, I brought my grandpa. Half of the fun was to enjoy good Guatemalan food with him. And this was his first tasting menu. He asked a few times to repeat some dishes. They were confused. He also wondered if they were going to interrupt our conversation every time they brought another dish.

They do a lot of local dishes and also a brunch menu when I visited. A sausage of beans, really good eggs (huevitos revueltos chapines) and a lot of ingredients that will trigger your childhood if you were born in this country. A good tasting menu to share with international friends looking to explore la tierra de la eterna primavera.

Chef Débora Fadul is really building something special here. Diacá means de acá, from here. They later moved from the Cuatro Grados tower out to Muxbal, and made Latin America's 50 Best in 2025.

## What to order

- **Huevitos revueltos chapines:** Really good eggs from the brunch menu when I visited.
- **Sausage of beans:** A local brunch dish; one of the childhood-trigger ingredients.
- **Tasting menu:** Local dishes in a beautiful Cuatro Grados setting; good to share with international friends exploring la tierra de la eterna primavera.
